Motion Against Dowry Abuse NSW
The City of Parramatta passed a motion against Dowry Abuse.
The Cumberland City Council passed a motion against Dowry Abuse. Leading to a State wide motion being passed at the National Local Government Conference

NSW Govt Roundtable
NSW Government began the process of reviewing legislation reform in line with the recommendations of the Senate Report.

A petition launched to raise awareness against Dowry Abuse
2019
Senate Report
26 Jun 2018 The Senate referred The Practice & Incidence of Dowry Abuse in Australia to the Legal & Constitutional Affairs References Committee. The report published in February 2019 had twelve recommendations.
2020-22
Research
The City of Parramatta sponsored research into Dowry Abuse to be conducted by Western Sydney University supported by SSI & ICSA.
Research into Dowry Abuse in Western Sydney was undertaken by four partners.
